Custom Made Foot Orthotics

Prescription foot orthotics are carefully constructed devices that fit inside your shoes. They aim to control the motions of your feet and to correct any structural mal-alignment. Like good eye-correction lenses, each prescription foot orthotic is constructed under the direction of our podiatrist and is custom made to meet your specific requirements.

The production of an orthotic device begins with casts of the feet being sent of to our dedicated orthotics lab in Canada. Here, the orthotic construction involves a highly technical, complex process aided by hi tech CAD/CAM systems. Only in this way
can the orthotic properly conform to the shape of your foot and assist in altering the function of the foot in the correct manner.

They are not ARCH SUPPORTS. Arch supports do not attempt to correct the alignment of your feet. Sometimes they help the symptoms but with the underlying cause still present, the pains are likely to return.

There are many different types of orthotics designed for different activities, age groups and lifestyles. Whether you require them for work, sport or leisure, we can provide an orthotic for you.

Do I need Foot Orthotics?

If you suffer from any of the fore-mentioned complaints or have noticed any of the following, we suggest you may well benefit from prescription foot orthotics.

  • One side of your shoe wearing down excessively.
  • Frequent sprains to you ankle.
  • Sore/tired feet at the end of the day.
  • Your feet point in or out the way excessively or you have fallen arches.
